Anemone Geyser, one of the smaller geysers in Yellowstone's Upper Geyser Basin, erupts in a more fan-shaped manner. This geyser has two vents in two separate craters. You will see the larger crater filling with water, the eruption beginning and lasting for a few seconds, and then the water draining away into the vents with a sucking sound.
This is one of the national parks that I would like to visit!
I posted my daily photo a few minutes ago (a very late post). I forgot to do so before leaving for work this morning and I've been busy ever since I got home. I can't recall ever missing a day posting since I joined this community in 2010.
