9/3/12 - View from the Longhorn Ranch Resort near Dubois, Wyoming; best viewed in the larger sizes. This view was just outside our RV here and is quite typical of the formations right around Dubois. I think these are called the Painted Hills or the Wyoming Badlands.
Thanks for your comments on my shot of the horse. I certainly should have been more aware of the position of the building in the bg, so that it would not seem to be coming out of the horse's head. Also, I appreciate Linda's tip about the angle of the head; I've never have known, as I thought the horse looked great from that angle. But, of course, I know next to nothing about horses.
