From this viewpoint on the South Rim of the Grand Canyon, you can see the Phantom Ranch at the bottom if you look for the green area in the largest sizes. You can also see a trail snaking along the formations.
Thanks for all the comments on the previous shot of the canyon. I think we were really lucky when we were there that the air was quite clear. We also had some beautiful cloudy skies, which cast wonderful shadows on the canyon. Shooting the Grand Canyon, perhaps even more than with most photography, is an exercise in constantly changing light and shadow.
I'm going to post a few hours early and go to bed, as I'm not feeling too well. I think my dinner did not agree with me. Hope your day is grand and that the weather improves for all those of you battling the storms.
