Dailies

These images are ones shot to post in the daily community on smugmug. I've been participating in this community for about twelve years. For the first few years, I tried to always post a shot taken either that day or the day before. Now, although I try to shoot everyday, I don't necessarily post the images on the same day they are shot.

Day 138 - Frost on dead seedhead, photographed a few weeks ago during one of my episodes of trying to capture hoarfrost. This morning my hubby and I are taking off for a month-long trip to a number of places, including Big Bend National Park in Texas, New Orleans and the Everglades. Our primary objective is to find birds to photograph. During the trip, if there is no wifi access where we'll be camping (and there won't be in Big Bend --- I'm pretty sure...the nearest town is 60 miles away), then I won't be able to post new dailies or comment on your shots. I plan to post whenever I have access to wifi and will comment then, as well. However, it is likely that it will be a week before I have another chance to post and comment. In the meantime, I hope you smugmuggers have a great week. I'll really hate missing all your great shots. Have fun and take care of yourselves and your loved ones!<br />
