Day 127 - A large tree covered with hoarfrost; detail in this image can be best viewed in a larger size. On our way to Estes Park, we encountered a thick foggy mist around and in Loveland. This tree was along the highway and I made Phil stop and I spent about 30 minutes shooting this tree from different perspectives. The mist was dissipating by the time we got through Loveland, so it was a very transitory phenomenon. I've been envying all of you who have had foggy and misty days to photograph, so I finally got my chance. Let me know what you think of this one. Thanks for your comments on my daily in Rocky Mt. National Park...you'll probably get a chance to see more of those shots. I really enjoyed the crop of photos today...really a superior bunch of images you guys posted! The Monday Challenge group really rose to the occasion and posted a great group of shots. I'm going to post this early and hit the sack!
