These images are ones shot to post in the daily community on smugmug. I've been participating in this community for about twelve years. For the first few years, I tried to always post a shot taken either that day or the day before. Now, although I try to shoot everyday, I don't necessarily post the images on the same day they are shot.

Day 93 - Last night I filled three wine glasses with watered down vinegar and took them upstairs to try to shoot them in front of a blue night light; the shots did not turn out so I brought the glasses back downstairs and set them on the kitchen counter; this morning when I got up, I saw the reflections in the glasses and decided to try to capture them; the reflections are of parts of my kitchen, the kitchen window and light fixtures...all upside down. I left the newspaper lying behind them. I don't think this is a great shot but I do like the reflections.

on March 25, 2009Coming from a food and beverage background I can really appreciate this capture. The reflections are eyecatching without distorting the feeling of the composition and i think that the newspaper does add to a better release of the glasses. Nice work!
