A five week old Burmese Mountain Dog; you must view this in the largest size to see the reflections in the puppy's eyes. All of these puppies have the little pinkish-white on their noses. Rather unusual, I think.
Thanks to everyone for making my shot of the popped water balloon the #1 shot for the day! Some of you asked how many shots I had to take to get this. Actually, this was the very first try! We did this quite a few times and every time I got a shot that was about this good. I set my shutter speed to 1/1000 second and also set the camera to take continuous shots as I pressed the shutter. I got the balloon in focus and had Spencer pop the balloon on the count of 3. I started pressing the shutter just a bit before the 3 count. It was shot outside and the light was quite bright. There was no noise in the shot, even at that speed.
Have a great Friday! We got the carpet installed. They started at 8 a.m. and finished at 8 p.m. So today I have to clean house thoroughly and put everything back that we moved for the carpet layers.
