fotoeffects > Snow in the Garden of the Gods in Colorado. I think this one is worth looking at in 3x. Spent the morning there shooting various scenes. It was very cold but beautiful. I'm pooped and going to post this and then hit the sack. Have a good day, everyone!
fotoeffects > Shot in the Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs during a very light snowfall - this does not show any of the dramatic rock formations in the park, but I liked the curve of the red rocks and the way the tree arched over the scene. I think it should be viewed in the larger sizes. Hope you all like it. Thanks for the nice comments on my PF Chang horse. It did snow here today and yesterday but we've only gotten a couple of inches. At least we don't have to shovel the driveway. Hope you have a good day!
fotoeffects > This is actually one of the horses outside PF Chang's restaurant. It was dusk and the light just turned out really well, I think. The shot was hand held. Just finished looking at all the shots on the "most popular" for today and I have to say that Stephen Lee's invisible man is a truly amazing image! Hope your week begins in a grand way!

I have to say that there were even more fabulous shots on smugmug today than usual. So many shots that I would love to have taken myself, if I were only skilled enough. fotoeffects > When I saw this bright yellow car that had the yellow flowers on the dash and the great reflection in the side window, I just had to shoot it. Thanks for the comments about my shot of the window that looked a lot like a picture on the wall. An incredible number of wonderful shots on smugmug today and I sure enjoyed browsing through them all.

fotoeffects > Sunset through the garage - I rather like this shot, but wonder if the fact that the top of the building is cut off will be considered a failure. Probably better viewed in the larger sizes. Thanks for your comments on the stained glass window shot in the chapel. Hope you find some joy in today!
fotoeffects > Another shot from inside Shove Chapel on the Colorado College campus I really appreciated all the nice comments on my shot of the arch and stained glass window in the chapel. Really made me feel like I know what I'm doing, which is certainly not always the case. Anyway, it made me feel really good. Hope you have a great Wednesday!
