3/23/13 - Taken at the Tucson Rodeo; we were seated in the second from the top row, so I was a long way from the action. I have a series of shots of this bull jumping right over the rider. I'm not sure if the bull actually stomped on him but it was definitely trying to injure him. The rider did get up and clamber over the fence after a while but this seemed to go on a long time. Because we were so far way, this is a pretty substantial crop, but, as you can see if you look at this in the larger sizes, there is still a lot photographic detail even in this severe crop.

3/17/13 - I had a bit of trouble finding something green for St. Patrick's Day. I liked the detail of this interesting seed pod that I photographed in Moab. Happy St. Patrick's Day, everyone!

Thank you all for making my shot of St. Augustine's in Tucson the #1 shot for the day. Like many of you, I've found that lots of images don't lend themselves to processing in Simplify. It certainly can be just the ticket for some images, though, and I really enjoy trying it out on different shots.

3/16/13 - St. Augustine's, Tucson. I processed this using Topaz Simplify and liked the rather silkscreen-like effect.
