1/22/13 - Paintings by Floyd D Tunson were featured in a large exhibit at the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center. This is a huge floor-to-ceiling installation of a number of separate pieces of art that were created to go together. They are quite amazing to see in person. Thanks for your comments on my shot of the hanging glass in Cherry Creek. Much appreciated. After spending quite a few hours online with a senior Apple technical consultant, I seem to have resolved my problem, at least for now. I reloaded the operating system and the problem still existed but, then, suddenly, a few hours later, it suddenly was ok. Makes me worry that it will recur. The Apple consultant was thinking I probably had a hadware problem, possibly a defective logic board or bad USB ports. I'm going to check with her tomorrow to see if I should still take the computer in for testing. I appreciated all your good wishes on my computer problems. I know most of us experience these kinds of things from time to time.
1/21/13 - Hanging in a shop in Cherry Creek, CO. Thanks for your comments several days ago on my shot of the great horned owl. After posting the shot, I was unable to get in to see your responses asI have not been able to get into my computer for several days now. It will not recognize a mouse click of any kind, so I cannot do anything. I dragged my laptop out of the closet and am posting this way. I'm not sure when I'll be able to get the computer fixed. I've been to the Apple store two days in a row and the computer works fine there but won't work in our RV. They thought it is some sort of bluetooth interference but my wireless mouse works fine with the laptop, so why won't ti work with the main computer? Trials and tribulations!

1/17/13 - Coyote; captured at the Arizona-Sonoran Desert Museum. I have shots of coyotes that have a bit better detail, but I like the way this one shows it in its environment. Thanks for your warm response to my shot of the Messerschmitt. Hope you all have a great day. It warmed up here a bit today and tomorrow is supposed to be even warmer. Yea!
1/16/13 - Messerschmitt. On our recent trip back to Colorado Springs, we drove up to Denver to visit the Forney Transportation Museum, which has an amazing collection of antique cars and a few trains. After WWII, Messerxhmitt was no longer allowed to manufacture aircraft, so they manufactured this little beauty for a bit. It is quite tiny. I selected out the rather busy bg and experimented with various colors and, eventuallly, decided on this red-on-red look. Thanks for your comments on my shot of the Chihuly. You guys rock. I saw saw some amazing images today on smugmug...so much great work!
1/15/13 - Chihuly chandelier at the Colorado Springs Art Center. Best viewed in the larger sizes. Thanks for the comments on my shot of the pavilion in the park at night. I really appreciate your taking the time to stop by and comment.

1/12/13 - On a hike in Sabino Canyon near Tucson. I liked the light through the grasses and tree leaves inthe foreground and the reflections in the stream beyond. Thanks for your warm response to my shot of the great horned owl. Your support is much appreciated!
